Step 1 : Have an iPhone. Make sure you have OS 3.0
Step 2: Jailbreak iPhone - Follow exact instructions here: http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=4448
Step 3: Enter Cydia on the iPhone, go to manage, go to sources, click edit (top right), click add (top left) and type : http://cydia.hackulo.us/ (see screenshot) . Ignore Cydia’s silly warnings
Step 4: click search (bottom right), type in ‘installous’. The only result you should get is ‘Installous’(see screenshot). Click this and press ‘install’ (top right)
Step 5: click search again, type in ‘appsync’. The only result you should get is ‘AppSync’(see screenshot). Click this and press install
Step 6: Exit Cydia, and click the new installous icon. Click settings (bottom right). Change ‘Install Method’ to dirty. Toggle ‘iTunes Sync’ to On
Step 7: Download the tomtom app here: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/125959037/tomtom+canada?tab=summary http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5058125/TomTom_US__amp__Canada_for_iPhone . If you don’t know how to use bittorrent (if you’re lost on what to do with the file) you’re in way over your head. But you made it this far so click here: http://www.wikihow.com/Download-Torrents
Step 8: Drag the app you just downloaded into iTunes
Step 9: Plug your iphone into your computer, it should now sync the app. this can take up to 40 minutes
Step 10: Unplug iPhone and run the tomtom app!

Nice going poser. First of all, sharing this crap with the world is just stupid. If people are not smart enough to find it on their own, you should not be leading them to it. THEN you post TORRENTS? Who is the hell uses torrents other than NO SCENE POSERS?! Torrents are and always have been frowned on by release groups and REAL undergrounders. TORRENTS are one of the MAIN reasons (along with limewire and other p2p CRAP) that release groups (that supply you morons with this stuff in the first place) are getting shut down and thrown in jail all the time. TORRENTS are one of the MAIN reasons the underground isnt so damn underground anymore and piracy is so PUBLIC. I guess any idiot with a keyboard is allowed to be a part of something that was once reserved for people with SOME hacking/phishing/underground background. Keep posting this crap to ATTEMPT to convince yourself and others that read your little blog that you have some REAL knowledge and are someone that is respected in the scene just because you can post something that started with people that would spit in your face before they actually spoke to you. People like you are the reason why things are getting harder to do and THE reason why people are going to jail everyday. Are you using a 3GS?
nope it is 3g but my 2 of my friends have the same…
The problem is the 3GS has a GPS chip built into it, which allows it to track it’s location. This doesn’t exist in the other iPhones, so unless you specifically have a 3GS, it will not work
when i had the data plan and was planning on getting rid of it, i took out the sim twice and drove from one city to another and it worked, then i was sure it will work without the plan, i disconnected the data and it worked for couple of days… my friends have 3g phones not 3gs and they are still able to use it without the data…

I have noticed that Garmin product is the best gps over all. This GPS is worth every penny, easy to use and the signal is always good.

@ Ronnie, your 3G also has a gps chip built inside. Just turn off dataroaming to make sure you don’t use internet at all and be sure to put your phone underneath the front window of your car to have a good fix. It works on my 3G.

So I tried to sync up the app with my IPhone but when I try it constantly says that my phone does not have sufficient space the app itself is 1.28GB according to itunes I have 2GB available has anyone else have this issue?
